Captured in 2019 from a high-rise office in Brentwood, Through Rain and Glass fuses three separate exposures into one image. Raindrops bead across the window in sharp relief, while the streets of Santa Monica blur into the soft haze of evening light. Beyond, the Pacific Ocean and the Pacific Palisades rest on the horizon, grounding the city in its wider landscape. The composition draws attention to what lies between us and the view—the glass, the weather, the atmosphere—inviting reflection on the filters through which we experience the world.
